Hello, there! It’s under 30 degrees here in Boston, but we’ve had no snow-Yet! And I’m listening to Jewel singing “Ave Maria” by Bach-Gonoud. I remember this song from several years ago when WMJX-FM in Boston concluded its 18 hour commercial free program “The Magic Of Christmas!” Of course, on Christmas Eve just before midnight, they’ve played the Carpenters’ version.
Just discovered your channel today Sunday while I had the house to myself,very nice while I finish off the Christmas decorations and tasting an odd whiskey (Irish of course)

After searching cyberspace I was truly overjoyed to find your website streaming Christmas music! I love the wide variety of styles and eras represented and enjoy the historical bits about the carols. You guys are awesome!
Here is a little personal view that might add to your info about “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”. Written in 1943 (I did not know that, coincidentally the year I was born), you commented that you were not quite sure why the original song might have been something of a downer. As you know in 1943 we/USA were into our 2nd year of World War II with no end in sight. It is my guess that the song may have expressed some longing for the safe return of our folks serving in dangerous circumstances overseas, and a hope for an end to war by the following Christmas. Just a guess on my part, putting 2-and-2 together when you informed us of the year the song was written.

I just discovered your station a few short days ago & I LOVE it!! This is the best Christmas station going on the internet. I actually had my own internet radio station but it just got too expensive to operate so I had to give it up. So thank you for what you are doing so people can listen worldwide to Christmas music 24/7/365. I know it isn’t cheap by any means but the rewards are priceless. What you are giving to folks is a wonderful thing. I love Christmas and start listening to the music in mid-Summer. My kids think I’m crazy but I’m very nostalgic at heart & it’s better than most of the ‘everyday’ music you find out there.
Can you play some of the Ray Coniff Singers Christmas tunes? Love them!
