If you've ever been to Kansas, Oklahoma or Texas, and listened to the
radio, between 1971 and 1994, chances are you've heard Glen Martin
on a Top 40, Oldies, Classic Rock or Country station!
Glen has also voiced commercials
and radio station ID's that have run all over the country for decades. He has produced
nationally syndicated radio programs such as Faith Made Them
Great and The Hickory Creek Reunion. He has hosted
specials like The Beach Boys: Then and Now, and The
Elvis Top 30 Countdown. Glen has also interviewed dozens of
popular recording artists and even played softball at Fair Park
in Dallas with The Monkees. (a few years
ago :)
Glen started in radio at a
Christian Gospel station in Salina, Kansas back in '71. All the
other stations from then till now have been secular. In a way,
as founder
and host of the Christmas Radio Network, Glen has gone
full-circle and returned back to where it started for him.
Married to Vicki for
22 years,
the Martin's live in a suburb of Dallas and have 5 children (and
5 grandchildren!). Their youngest is a freshman in college.
Glen continues
to do freelance voice work and audio production of any
kind. He also has 12 years hands-on experience with Internet
Technologies and is available for consultation and/or "in
the trenches" work with networking and website design and
development on any scale.
